Mr. M.A Dawood Batcha  belongs to a small town named  Rajagiri in Thanjavur District  and his interest was mainly to quench the thirst  the thirst of higher education among  rural  folks who were unable to go higher education especially girls.

Mr.Dawood Batcha is the kingpin of the RDB college .He has a big role to play  by bringing the  rural girls out to this challenging world to seek higher education. "The great secret of success is go through life as a man who never gets used up"-a fitting description to the chairman of this college. With his fast experience, enthusiasm ,wisdom and boundless energy; he along with other faculties wants to make RDBC not only a model college but also a modern college.He always had something to say and does plenty for the sake of students. Everyone is proud of his tremendous contribution in the field of education which has helped RDBC to win many laurels-obviously the result of his meticulous planning and implementation.
